Medvedev enters Ukraine in Russian counter-sanctions list with proviso

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has entered, by his edict, Albania, Montenegro, Iceland and Liechtenstein in the Russian counter-sanctions list. Ukraine is also listed among the above countries with the proviso that an embargo on deliveries of Ukrainian agricultural produce to Russia should come into force if Kiev applies the economic part of the Association Agreement with the European Union.

Previously, Russia put the embargo on re-export of agricultural produce from Bulgaria. The reason behind this decision was the forgery of phytosanitary documents.

According to the documents, producing countries were allegedly Brazil and Morocco. In actual fact, the consignment of goods was made in Poland.

As is known, Russia placed the embargo on import of goods from Poland in retaliation for sanctions imposed by the EU.

Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that sanctions used by the decadent West in connection with a civil war in Ukraine helped the government of Russia develop domestic industries and agriculture in particular. Moscow has to accelerate rates of the implementation of a program for the replacement of imports.

Specifically, the government should carry out the task of replacing agricultural imports at priority rates. After Russia had entered the World Trade Organization, the domestic agricultural market was seized by foreign companies. “At present, we have cleared them from our market,” Mr. Putin said.

As geopolitical analyst William Engdahl put it, the United States has been attempting to isolate Russia by imposing sanctions. However, the American evil empire and its allies in the EU have only produced the opposite effect and brought Russia closer to China and other BRICS countries.

Funnily enough, Mr. Wilson, a citizen of Britain, wrote: “The U.S. via the dollar, CIA and our pathetically weak politicians, engineered the dissolution of the British empire and the demise of sterling. Would our financial establishment have the courage to change allies? Join the BRICS to form the BBRICS, easier to say in cold weather.”

In fact, many observers think Washington is very strong in stupidity in its foreign policy. The U.S. created a military coup d’etat in Kiev and brought Ukrainian neo-Nazis to power that is illegitimate.

U.S. politologist Paul Craig Roberts believes the Nazi coup in Ukraine is Washington’s attempt to thrust a dagger in Russia’s heart. The recklessness of such a criminal act has been covered up by constructing a false reality of the so-called people’s revolution against a corrupt government. The world should be stunned, from Mr. Roberts’ point of view, that “bringing democracy” has become Washington’s cover-up for resurrecting the Nazi state in Europe, which borders Russia.

Ultimately the West’s mask has been torn off, revealing its “democracy” as at best unsubstantial, overrated and at worst duplicitous.

Most Ukrainian men don’t want to participate in fratricidal war, says Putin

According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, there are 2.5 million migrants from Ukraine in Russia, including 1.3 million men of draft age. Previously, he promised to grant political asylum to all Ukrainians who do not want to be summoned to a civil war in the Donbas region.

Mr. Putin is sure that most Ukrainian servicemen do not want to take part in the fratricidal war, whereas Donbas militiamen are highly motivated to defend their families on their native land against a neo-Nazi junta in Kiev. The heroic defenders of Donbas say they are fighting for autonomy, for the right to live and work in their own Russian-speaking region.

The civil war in Donbas earns real profits for the war industry, but only an ersatz glory for Ukrainian neo-Nazi militants. Real soldiers take no pride in it. Instead, to a real hero, the U.S.-sponsored fratricidal war is a source of shame and embarrassment.

In fact, Anatoly Matios, chief military prosecutor of Ukraine, revealed that 10,000 Ukrainian servicemen were suspected of desertion. Besides, thousands of Ukrainian servicemen are prosecuted for evasion of military service.

In the Kherson region alone 2,813 reservists evade service. And the Kharkov region has the most abysmal turnout, with only 17% of those receiving draft orders responding. As the Ukrainian neo-Nazi authorities prosecute no-shows, human rights advocates are speaking in defense of draft dodgers.

According to many observers, draft commanders ask for bribes, and commanders including the so-called president, Peotr Poroshenko, or Petya Parasha (close-stool in a prison cell), as wags call him, maintain Russian business ties while asking soldiers to die for the pro-Western Ukraine.

More than 15,000 former Ukrainian servicemen have decided to go over to the Russian army after the reunification of Crimea with Russia.

Data from the sociological group Rating show that 77% of citizens of Ukraine fear greatly the fratricidal war. Importantly, only 7% of respondents are concerned about secession of Donbas with the large Russian population from this country.

As Vladimir Putin once put it, the civil war in Donbas serves the geopolitical purposes of deterring Russia, whereas that does not respond to the basic interests of citizens of Ukraine. However, few in the decadent West seem to recognize that it is the NATO rather than Russia, which has been spreading expansionary tentacles beyond traditional boundaries. Since the early 1990s, Western aims have been to draw countries out of the Soviet sphere of influence and into the aggressive NATO. Ukraine has always been seen as the ultimate test as to where the balance lies.

Russia reinforces her troops in Crimea

After the reunification of Crimea with Russia, Moscow deployed Bastion coast missile systems in the peninsula. Bastion is equipped with the Onyx supersonic missile that has a killing range of 300 kilometers.

In addition, Russia’s Black Sea fleet adopted new antisubmarine and guided-missile ships as well as four submarines of 2011-2015 vintage, among others.

Overall, the Russian Federation has concentrated troops 20,000 strong, 40 warships and 50 aircraft in the Black Sea region, which can strike a crushing blow at the next invasion from the West since 1941 (read: Nazi Germany). Despite the assurances given by George Bush I and other American presidents, Russia’s periphery states have been drawn towards the faulty NATO.

The West collaborated with Ukrainian neo-Nazis and staged a coup to oust a democratically elected government, pushing this country into chaos and a civil war in the Donbas region with large Russian populations. After the West-sponsored neo-Nazi coup in Kiev, Russia does not have any trust in the West and particularly the United States.

Observers say today it is like a showdown in old western. Russia on the one side, the aggressive NATO on the other. Each in the street, facing off, waiting for the other to blink an eye or draw his gun.

As Russian President Vladimir Putin once put it, Moscow has nonstandard solutions up her sleeve and no one will succeed in winning military superiority over Russia.

Currently, Russian specialists are developing a digital control system for guiding nuclear weapons that would enable on-line retargeting of a missile after its launch. The new system is designed for the latest nuclear missiles Topol-M and Yars-M whose flight range allows them to deliver nuclear munitions to the American evil empire.

The latest numbers show that the share of new weapons in strategic nuclear forces, the Air Force and the Navy accounts for about 55%, 35% and more than 50% respectively in Russia. The renewal of fighting equipment in Russian ground forces has made up some 70%. Recently, the Russian government has adopted a program for the purchases of arms in the amount of 19 trillion rubles for the period ending in 2020.

Key indicators of Russia’s economic development on the rise as Americans continue to lose ground

By Vladimir V. Sytin

According to Russian President Vladimir Putin (pictured), industrial output and agricultural production increased by 1.7% and 3.7% respectively in Russia last year. The country produced the record 525 million tons of oil and harvested the record 105.3 million tons of grain.

Last year Russian banks increased assets to 77 trillion rubles. The unemployment rate accounts for about 5.3% in Russia today, compared with 7.8% at the start of 2011. Natural growth of the Russian population amounted to 37,100.

By comparison, Americans have continued to lose ground since the 18-month recession ended in June 2009. U.S. Census Bureau data show that a median household income fell by 3.9% to $51,939 in 2013, compared with 2009 when Obama took office. The poorest fifth fared even worse, with incomes dropping 5.9% to $20,900.

At present, the U.S. federal debt exceeds $212 trillion. American observers say federal government deficits are supposed to stay over $500 billion per year until 2020.

Sanctions help Russia develop domestic industries, says Putin

Impoverishment of population continues as puppet government of Ukraine becomes appendage to IMF

By Vladimir V. Sytin
The Ukrainian Times

According to parliamentary opposition leader Yuri Boiko, impoverishment of the population and social plundering of pensioners continue in Ukraine while unemployment is going through the roof. A fall in Ukraine’s GDP accounted for 15% in the first quarter, inflation made up 38% and prices of utilities increased sevenfold.

As Mr. Boiko put it, the puppet government of Ukraine has become a mere appendage to the International Monetary Fund. He thinks the IMF shock therapy mafia is destroying the real sector of the economy, small and mid-sized businesses. Meanwhile, negative news is coming in like drone attacks and the neo-Nazi junta in Kiev shifts all its failures to a civil war in the Russian-speaking Donbas region, whereas the Ukro-fascist coalition ignores Minsk peace accords.

As a matter of fact, many observers maintain that with the conclusion of the February 12 Minsk-II Peace Accord, Russian President Vladimir Putin enhanced his international position, especially against the United States, and was granted by France and Germany an implied endorsement to influence Ukraine’s internal affairs. In other words, Paris and Berlin agree that Ukraine should lie within Moscow’s sphere of influence.

And it is worth recalling that the U.S. and West European attempts to brazenly interfere in the internal affairs of Ukraine have been a failure. The ‘Euromaidan’ overthrow of democratically elected president Viktor Yanukovich (also known as the CIA-perpetrated fascist coup) provided the context for the recent reunification of Crimea with Russia and de facto departure of the Donbas region.

Alas, the drama continues.

Western technologies hold instigation of domestic disorders in store for disobedient states

Speaking at a recent meeting of the UN Security Council, Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov (pictured) stated that attempts to dominate world affairs would entail contravention of international principles, and concentrated pressure on sovereign states. Western technologies hold the instigation of domestic disorders, and replacement of regimes, in store for disobedient states.

lavrov-ut

Mr. Lavrov pointed out overt encouragement to the unconstitutional coup d’etat in Ukraine last year.

In fact, many observers say it was the United States and the faulty European Union that sought to topple the existing system and draw Ukraine from Russia’s orbit into the West’s. The goal of the American evil empire was to attempt to create the unipolar world in which Washington’s interests went unchallenged. The West collaborated with Ukrainian neo-Nazis and staged the coup to oust democratically elected president Viktor Yanukovich, pushing this country into chaos and a civil war in the Russian-speaking Donbas region.

“Avoid foreign entanglements,” said George Washington, first president of the U.S., thinking ahead. But today the city named after him never met a foreign affair it did not want to get entangled in.

Russian President Vladimir Putin once warned Washington of the dangerous illusion about invulnerability and the ambition to make unilateral decisions. As he put it, Moscow has nonstandard solutions up her sleeve and no one will succeed in winning military superiority over Russia.

Thousands of servicemen desert from Ukrainian army

More than 15,000 former Ukrainian servicemen have decided to go over to the Russian army after the reunification of Crimea with Russia.

Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin (pictured) stated that the foreign NATO legion made a criminal war against heroic defenders of the Donbass region, or Novorossia (New Russia). Together with the Ukrainian neo-Nazi military, the foreign legion acts in the interests of the hostile Western alliance. In fact, observers say mercenaries have been captured in the east Ukraine with the thick London accent.

Few French favor Ukraine’s entry into EU as most Germans against NATO presence in CEE

By Vladimir V. Sytin
The Ukrainian Times

Recent opinion polls in France found that 50% of French respondents think Ukraine is within the orbit of Russia, rather than it is under the influence of the European Union. Despite the so-called sanctions against Moscow owing to the Ukrainian crisis, 71% of citizens of France favor the shipment of Mistral aircraft carriers to Russia.

Only 34% of the French approve of the entry of Ukraine into the EU.

In Germany, opinion polls say that 69% of German respondents are against NATO’s military presence in Central and East Europe because of a civil war in southeast Ukraine.

Speaking to students of the St. Petersburg Mining University, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the foreign NATO legion made a criminal war against heroic defenders of the Donbass region, or Novorossia (New Russia). Together with the Ukrainian neo-Nazi militants, the foreign legion acts in the interests of the hostile Western alliance. In fact, observers say mercenaries have been captured in the east Ukraine with the thick London accent.

According to Mr. Putin, the civil war in Donbass serves the geopolitical purposes of deterring Russia that does not respond to the basic interests of citizens of Ukraine. He promised to grant political asylum to all Ukrainians who do not want to be summoned to the criminal war.

Data from the sociological group Rating show that 77% of citizens of Ukraine fear greatly the war. Importantly, only 7% of respondents are concerned about secession of the Russian-speaking Donbass from this country.

Analysts think it is understandable for Russia to want to save the southeast Ukraine, as a buffer against the next invasion from the West since 1941 (read: Nazi Germany). Meanwhile, despite the assurances given by George Bush I and other American presidents, Russia’s periphery states have been drawn towards the aggressive NATO. Critics say the United States meddled in Ukraine, helping to unseat its democratically elected president Viktor Yanukovich so that he might be replaced by American stooges.

As Vladimir Putin once put it, Moscow has nonstandard solutions up her sleeve and no one will succeed in winning military superiority over Russia.

The armed coup in Kiev is painfully similar to CIA operations to oust unwanted foreign leaders in Iran, Chile and Venezuela, said U.S. filmmaker
Oliver Stone. Many witnesses believe the so-called ‘shooters’ were introduced by pro-Western factions – with CIA fingerprints on it.
Likewise, the shooters were introduced in Lithuania. Historically, those events were CIA-perpetrated coups against Iranian prime minister Mohammad Mosaddegh in 1953 and Chilean president Salvador Allende in 1973 – both leaders with policies undesired by Washington or its allies.

In this context, several observers tweeted their opinion: “CIA has unleashed murderous terror in Ukraine, just like everywhere in the world”, “CIA has become a nation unto itself. It is parasitical upon the U.S., which has no control over it.”

Experience of victims of Nazism underestimated in Ukraine

By Vladimir V. Sytin
The Ukrainian Times

Data from the Kiev-based International Institute of Sociology show that 50% of citizens of Ukraine think the experience of victims of Nazism is underestimated in this country. At present, about 200,000 persons, who were taken prisoners during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 against Nazi Germany, reside in Ukraine.

Overall, some 0.5 million citizens of Ukraine suffered from national socialism and fascist terror.

As Russian President Vladimir Putin once stated, “the vaccine against a Nazism virus, which the Nuremberg Tribunal had worked out in 1945-46, became attenuated in Europe”. He cited several countries including the Baltic states and Ukraine where “the Nazism vaccine” is inefficacious.

Readers of The Ukrainian Times know that the U.S.-sponsored riots, which extremists of the neo-Nazi organizations Right Sector and Svoboda triggered in Kiev at the end of last year, evoke deep indignation of world public opinion. It is widely believed that their ancestors, such as war criminal Stepan Bandera, were slaves of Nazi Germany defeated by the Soviet Union in 1945 while today Right Sector and Svoboda thugs are slaves of the American evil empire.
no-nazism-collage-ut

And Western observers say Mr. Putin is correct when he describes U.S. backing for various extremists from Islamic fundamentalists in the Middle East
and Central Asia to the neo-Nazis in Ukraine. In fall 2013 National Endowment for Democracy president Carl Gershman, Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, and assistant secretary of state for European affairs Victoria Nuland began arranging a coup d’etat in Kiev. The coup makers collaborated with the neo-Nazi extremists, which were organized in western Ukraine and dispatched to the so-called Maidan. These schemers – who believe they can improve the world with the help of extremists – are a constant threat to human happiness and progress.

It is a shame that the quack politicians and meddlers from the U.S. are not subject to penalty. Could not some suitable stick be laid on the above world-improvers?
